Insurance Industry Veteran Joins Company, June 1, 2008
Tuesday, June 3, 2008, Paramus, NJ - The NIA Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Kevin W. Conboy, the former President and Chief Executive of Acordia (Wells Fargo Insurance Services) will join the Company as its Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1, 2008.

Gross, Chairman of the 82-year old insurance brokerage firm. “In addition to formulating NIA’s sales strategy, Kevin will play a significant role in the execution of our business plan of expanding our foot print through acquisitions and the addition of new brokerage professionals. His experience and leadership on these fronts will be instrumental in helping us achieve our ultimate vision of leveraging a two-pronged strategy of acquisition and organic growth.”
About Kevin Conboy: During his sixteen-year career with Acordia, Mr. Conboy completed fifty-four acquisitions, increased operating margins, incorporated cross selling as an integral corporate strategy, and spearheaded the successful integration of Acordia into Wells Fargo. As a long time senior executive within the organization, Kevin’s leadership at the fifth largest brokerage firm played a key role in the firm’s growth and profitability during his tenure. Mr. Conboy graduated from Colorado State University and has spent his entire career in the insurance field.
Steven L. Grossberg, President of The NIA Group, will work closely with Mr. Conboy in the development and execution of the company strategy.
